On Friday, I was looking around Great Wines and Spirits on Popular and found that they have their own wine club. Here are the details:

Ahead of time, you select the # of bottles of wine you want them to set aside for you each month. This amount can be changed.
You can set a pre-established limit on how much to spend ($$$) each month if you want to.
You will be notified by phone, mail, or e-mail when your monthly selections are avialable.
The wines are guaranteed. If you don't like it, you can return it. They'll exchange the bottle or give you a refund.

Palm Court does a tasting for $20 every Wednesday. Palm Court is located at Overton Square inside the building that houses the Bayou, Le Chardonnay, etc. Wedding receptions and other events are held there a lot.

Wine Tasting, Le Chardonnay

Tuesdays on the Terrace Wine Tasting, Memphis Botanic Garden

Memphis Botanic Garden is hosting Tuesdays on the Terrace Wine Tasting on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2008. The event is from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Corks & Courses, Davis-Kidd Booksellers

Corks & Courses is a monthly four-course dinner at Davis-Kidd's Bronte bistro. It features selections from cookbooks sold in the bookstore. Each course is served with a paired wine.

This event is held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. The cost is $39.95 / person.
